What Is IASTM / Graston Technique?
Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization involves the use of smooth, specialized treatment tools that are gently moved over selected soft-tissue areas.
The technique allows the clinician to apply controlled pressure to muscles, tendons and surrounding tissues to help reduce sensitivity, improve movement and address soft-tissue restrictions.
Graston Technique® is a branded system of IASTM. At Trivayu Physio Center, instrument-assisted techniques can be integrated with stretching, strengthening and functional rehabilitation according to each patient’s condition and goals.
